We listened when eBay Top-rated sellers told us that a temporary loss of status due to unforeseen issues makes it difficult for them to plan their business. While continuing to focus on high levels of service quality, we're responding by introducing more stability to the programme.
Building on the positive reception of the eBay product catalogue in Electronics categories earlier in the year, we're increasing the number of categories using the product catalogue. We're also making updates in Vehicle Parts & Accessories to help reduce the queries and returns, and to make it easier for items to be found and bought.

From 23 August 2011, we're increasing the number of Electronics categories in which you should list your items with matching products from an eBay catalogue.

From 31 August 2011, if a buyer opens an eBay Buyer Protection case without first contacting you and you resolve it to the buyer's satisfaction within 3 working days, the case may be excluded from seller performance evaluation.
From late August 2011, we're making changes relating to postage options to help reduce unnecessary buyer questions.
