As the world of online retail changes, buyers increasingly expect fast dispatch times, speedy, low-cost postage and straightforward returns.etrs

As previously announced, we're changing the eBay Top-rated seller requirements, benefits and branding. We're also introducing the new eBay Premium Service to help buyers better find listings that meet their increaseing expectations.

From 1 August, we're lowering the sales volume requirements to qualify for eBay Top-rated seller status at an account-level.

We're also changing the benefits for eBay Top-rated sellers. If you're an eBay Top-rated seller, your listings will still receive increased visibility in Best Match search results. However, in order for your listings to enjoy maximum visibility, display badging and receive a final value fee discount, your listings must comply with our new delivery and returns requirements. Compliant listings will be called eBay Premium Service listings.

You can choose to offer eBay Premium Service on an individual listing basis; you don't have to offer these services for all of your listings, but your listings that don't meet the eBay Premium Service listing requirements won't receive the associated benefits.Your eBay Premium Service listings will display the new eBay Premium Service badge, receive a 15% discount on final value fees on eBay.co.uk and eBay.ie, and enjoy maximum visibility in Best Match search results.

We're retiring the current eBay Top-rated seller badge on 17 September. However, from 1 August the final value fee discount, badge and maximum Best Match visibility will only apply to listings that meet the eBay Premium Service requirements.
